Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Meadow (the "App") and any related services (together, the "Service"), offered by Intentional Computing, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Your account
To use certain features, you'll create an account with a username and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Beta software
Meadow is currently provided as beta software. The Service may contain bugs, may change without notice, and may be unavailable at times. We appreciate your patience and your feedback.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to or through the Service ("Your Content"), including calendar events, text, and voice input. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and use Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to submit it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access it by any means other than the interface we provide;
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful content;
- Scrape, harvest, or resell data from the Service;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
6. Pricing and subscriptions
Meadow is currently free to use. We may introduce paid subscriptions in the future. If we do, we will notify you, and any paid features will be clearly identified before you are charged. Paid subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple's terms, and billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed through your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content we provide, is owned by Intentional Computing, Inc. and protected by law. Except for the rights we grant in these Terms, we reserve all rights in the Service. "Meadow" and the Meadow logo are trademarks of Intentional Computing, Inc.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the App or by following these instructions. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or other users. If we terminate for convenience, we will give reasonable notice where practicable.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MEADOW IS A TOOL TO HELP YOU MANAGE YOUR SCHEDULE; YOU REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CALENDAR, COMMITMENTS, AND DECISIONS.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTENTIONAL COMPUTING, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Intentional Computing, Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
13. Apple-specific terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Intentional Computing, Inc., not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and Intentional Computing, Inc. agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute not subject to arbitration, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence.
